Two in Winter is coming July 2, 2012 from Liquid Silver Books.

Okay, I know I’m supposed to play it cool. Just a book cover. But if there is one thing I don’t do with any sense of dignity, it’s play anything cool. I’m a nerd. I get unapologetically enthusiastic about just about everything, and this is my very first book cover (and holy wow, look what Getty is wearing! I would like that dress in every color pleaseandthankyou) so I can’t help but be a little… Squeal-y about it all.

But, enough about me. How about the book? The official blurb:

Getty has her life all planned out—and she’s used to getting everything she wants. She’s nurtured her business to success and now she wants to have a baby all on her own. She won’t let her attraction to a handsome doctor steer her off course.

Eric is still feeling the sting of his recent divorce, so he’s not looking for a relationship, but after sharing a steamy dance with a mysterious woman in a darkened club, he can’t help but want to get to know her. Unfortunately, she took off when she found out he gets women pregnant for a living.

When Eric finds out Getty’s a patient at the fertility clinic where he works, he tries to find a way for them to be together without risking his job. Meanwhile, she keeps him at arm’s length until she discovers even the best-laid plans can go awry. Can she let go of the life she’s planned in order to take a chance on a life with Eric?

Several big changes have occurred over the last month, and with them, I’m going to be making some changes to the blog, hopefully all will be good changes!

One, I’m working on a post schedule which will feature themes, guest posts from other authors, etc. I will likely still share small excerpts, but those will probably mostly be targeted toward upcoming releases. 

Also, we have just over a month to go until Two in Winter is released, and I am thrilled to say I’ve seen the cover art and can’t wait to reveal that, so, very soon, you all will get to see my first ever cover reveal!

If you’ve been following me for a bit, you’re probably familiar at least in passing with the project that has encompassed the better part of the last year of my life: The Ushers. These three books tell stories of romantic love, family, fate, and free will, and they’ve been a part of the fabric of my everyday life since I first started writing them.

I am really excited to announce that the Ushers will be published by Musa Publishing! The first story in the series, Amazon, is tentatively scheduled for an October release, with United and Cracked to follow. I’m really excited to share my pack of outcasts and ghosts and the unexpected lives they forge together with the world!
